How to install RareRO Full Setup way(Ragray+RareRO)
- Download RareRO Full Setup|(all parts).
- Extract with Winrar or 7zip;
- Install the extracted installer;
- Run Rare Ragnarok Online.exe and let it download any updates;
- Start the game and have fun!
How to Install RareRO None Full Setup way.
- Download Ragray(Most updated KRO + Renewal Pack);(Skip if you already have it)
- Download RareRO Client;
- Install Ragray on your desired directory;
- Install RareRO Client on the same folder as ragray;
- Run Rare Ragnarok Online.exe and let it download any updates;
- Start the game and have fun!

How to download Ragray via torrent
- If you don't have a torrent downloader, Download & Install Bit Torrent first. Click here to download.
- Then download Ragray Torrent To get all 9 parts that you can extract to get the Ragray Full Installer.
- Run the Ragray Torrent it open in Bit Torrent, then just press OK and wait for the download to finished.
- Normally the finished download will be saved in your Download Folder, you can also goto completed category in Bit Torrent and right click>open folder the finished download.
- If Ragray Torrent didn't open in Bit Torrent just run Bit Torrent first, then go to File>Add Torrent. Then choose the Ragray Torrent.
- You still have to download the Part 9 via web/http even if you choose torrent. You will notice the part 9 was a link to download the Part 9 via web. Just download that and put it in the same folder as the other parts and extract Part 1. Then it will extract the others automatically. If that link won't work you can go to Ragray.net and try the HTTP link.
How to update KRO+Renewal Ragray users
- Go to your RareRO Folder;
- Run Ragray Safe Updater.[Only for Ragray that has Ragray Patcher included];
- This updater will safely backup our Client and run the Ragray Patcher, after patching it will close itself along with Ragray Patcher. Use only this method when patching Ragray with RareRO Installed on it.
How to update KRO+Renewal none Ragray users
- Go to your RareRO Folder;
- Run Ragnarok.exe let it finished then close;
- Run Renewal Safe Updater let if finished then close;
Addons
Download RO BGM Pack(Updated) for those who don't have it.
Simple extract/install it to your RareRO Folder.
Troubleshooting
1. Patcher is stuck on "saving resources".
Please try again and make sure you run the Patcher(Rare Ragnarok Online.exe) as Administrator for Vista & Windows 7.
2. Error when viewing a Custom Item.
Make sure your RareRO is updated and no other servers are installed with it.
3. Error when going to new maps.
Your KRO is outdated or you are using sakray/sdata.grf which is not recommended anymore.
Please Update your KRO/Ragray or Download the latest Ragray.
4. I accidentally patched Ragnarok_RE/ragray.exe alone without a Safe Updater
Please goto your RareRO Folder and delete "rarepatch.dat" then Patch RareRO again or reinstall RareRO Client then patch.
5. For windows 7 or Vista try running GAMERARERO.exe(from RareRO Folder) as Administrator if the client won't run in normal ways.
Data Execution Prevention: In some cases a security "DEP" will try to block ragexere.exe & OR GAMERARERO.exe(needed to run RareRO). To stop this you need to right click My Computer -> properties -> advance system settings -> advanced -> performance settings -> Data Execution Prevention ->
Make it "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" then just press "Add", and find your RareRO folder, and select ragexere.exe then do it again for GAMERARERO.exe.
6. If a part of the installer got corrupted let's say extracting says Part 6 is broken or corrupted, just download Part 6 again and overwrite the old one. Then try extracting again.
